August 04, 2002:

Ladies and Gentlemen, tonight I know you all came to see a Royal Rumble type match, where every minute a new superstar would come down from back there into this very ring to do battle. However, with the number of superstars that could actually take part in this big event, I decided to change the rules so to speak. Instead of a Royal Rumble, it will be a battle royal. We start with everyone in the ring till there can be only one. I hope you all enjoy this, as I know I will.

IHWA Battle Royal – Winner Gets a World Championship Shot

DB: Hey everyone I am Danny Bird along side with Larry Ray, we are coming to you live from the Houston Astrodome in Houston Texas.

LR: This is going to be a great night. We have X-Factor, Wolf, "Superstar" Steven Slack, Johnny B. Studdly and Bane Anderson.

DB: Let’s go down to ringside with VP Young who will be on the outside calling the shots.

VP: Thanks Larry, its great to be out here and just look at all the fans, I think they are ready to get this thing started, as am I.

LR: Well VP Young, it looks like everyone behind you is ready to get this thing going. They are jumping out of their seats.

VP: Well Larry, they are crazy down here and can you blame them with what we have seen so far?

DB: I know I can’t…Ok everyone I can see that the wrestlers are coming out of the locker room and heading down to the ring.

VP: Well leading the pack we can see, Steven Slack and then Scorpion. Listen to this crowd as they are coming out. They are going crazy. DJ. D is next followed by Bane Anderson, Hiro, Wolf, and then DPB.

DB: VP Young, we heard that DPB is taking some time off?

VP: Yes that is true, he is going to take care of some things back in his former wrestling promotion. We have talked for a bit and he says he will be back. Now, here comes Shwartz, Dope Static, "Manic" Mike Smith, Angel X, Sean Sweeney, Mr. Rage, Michael Pierce, Johnny B Studdly, and the only female in the Rumble Aurora Northern.

DB: We can see she is followed by X-Factor. It seems that he is totally pumped up for this match.

LR: Well I am thinking maybe DJ. D might be able to pull it off.

VP: Danny, you have to see this, the bell just rung and we already have someone on the floor. It’s JBS. It seems he climbed under the ropes and is heading under the ring. I don’t know what he is doing, I know that it’s not a hardcore match, so I cannot imagine that he is getting some sort of weapon.

LR: Well Mr. Young while you try to find out that, we take it back to the ring. DJ. D is fighting with Mr. Rage. The big man has him tied up in the ropes and is running for the big boot. Damn he nailed him. DJ. D almost went over, but his arms are unlocked and…

VP: Larry, Mike Smith and Mike Pierce were going at it when Idolizer nailed Pierce from behind. Pierce fell like a ton of bricks and Smith and Idolizer tried to toss him out, but he just would not go over the top.

LR: Did you find out about Johnny?

VP: Not yet, he is fully under the ring, and I cannot get a word from him.

DB: WHOA! Who was that? Someone just got flipped over the top rope.

VP: That was the other side, and it was Hiro. He ran at Wolf, who ducked and back body dropped him over the top. That is the first guy gone.

DB: Well someone had to go first, and it just happened to be Hiro. Wait could there be a second?

LR: Well Bane and Dope were going at it and Wolf came over to help his buddy toss Bane over, but Slack came over as well and pulled Wolf out of the mix. Dope lost his leverage and Bane fell down back into the ring.

DB: Can you see who that is almost over the top?

VP: It’s Scorpion. He is locked up with DPB and DJ.D. They are both pushing him and he has locked his arms on the ropes. Wolf and Slack are still going at it, as are Pierce and Idolizer. Aurora and X-Factor have locked up and she is really taking it to him. She just front suplexed him on top the top rope, but he rolled forward and fell back into the ring.

LR: Wolf just got pushed over the top rope, but he landed back on the apron. He is sliding his way back in when Slack pushes he head over the edge. He is stepping on his throat, and wait! JBS just came from under the ring and is choking him. Slack walks away he Wolf is getting choked even more. Dope with a baseball slide under the ropes catches JBS in the chin.

VP: We just lost our second wrestler. Mike Smith had Scorpion on the verge of going over when Bane came over and helped him out, literally.

DB: So Smith is now gone, and what is going on with Studdly? Well the ref are telling him to get in the ring or be gone, and he is taking his sweet time.

LR: Well there goes my pick. DJ. D just got clothes lined over the top by Angel X…

VP: Guys, Wolf has slid under the ropes and is now beating on JBS on the outside of the ring. The refs are trying to get them back into the ring, but I have a feeling that they both might be eliminated. Nope, wait. JBS just rolled Wolf back into the ring, into the waiting feet of Steve Slack. Wolf is getting stomped on as JBS is now finally getting into the ring. They are both stomping on Wolf.

DB: Hold that thought, we have Scorpion getting ready to go. Shwartz has Scorpion, just over the top and he is holding on, just barely. He is almost ready… to… go. There he goes He just hit the floor, and WHOA! Angel X just kicked Shwartz in the face and he flipped over the top.

LR: We are now down to twelve and how does it look from down there?

VP: Well Wolf is now being manhandled by JBS and Slack. JBS is slapping him in the face as Slack is holding him laughing.

LR: It’s so hard to keep up with everything. I hope we have not missed much.

DB: Dope just ran at Slack and knocked him down, JBS turned and took a punch and now the tides have turned. JBS and Dope are now going at it. Wolf is still down and…

VP: Danny… Danny… We just lost another one. It seems that Slack and Bane got together and tossed the big guy, Mr. Rage over the top. It took them both, he went over kicking and screaming.

LR: Is that? Steven Slack just got scooped up from behind and tossed over. I think, yep that was DPB who did it.

VP: Larry, Steven was lucky, he held on to the ropes and swung himself back under the bottom ring. He feet never touched the ground. Whoa! Just after Slack slid back in Bane got hold of DPB and whipped him off the opposing ropes only to power slam him over the top. He is moving but medics are coming down to check on him to be on the safe side.

DB: If you think about it, it looks like Bane and Slack are working together. They are now helping JBS pound on Wolf and Dope. It’s three against two. Dope just got whipped into Bane big boot. Then Wolf got double suplexed by Slack and JBS.

LR: Danny, did you just see that? Pierce was pushed over the top by Idolizer however he caught himself and stood up on the apron. Idolizer saw this and tried to punch him off the apron, but Pierce locked him up and just suplexed him over the top.

VP: Idolizer did not like that at all. Michael just turned and smiled at him before getting back in the ring.

DB: Dope and Wolf are in trouble. It seems they cannot mount any sort of offensive.

VP: Angel X and X-Factor have now started beating on each other. It seems that Aurora went over to help out her friends. Pierce just got in her way and just clothes lined her down to the canvass.

DB: ANGEL X! He just got knocked over the top, but he stopped himself from hitting the ground. X-Factor is kicking away at him, trying to stop him from getting back into the ring.

LR: Aurora, is just about to go as well. She is fighting…

VP: Idolizer just came from the back and grabbed a hold of Pierce’s foot. He let go of Aurora, who in turn with a little help from Idolizer pushed him over the top. Now the two are brawling on the ramp. It’s going to take a few people to break them up.

DB: Angel X is still holding on as X-Factor is still kicking away at him.

LR: Danny, we lost another. VP Young, can you tell us who it was?

VP: Yea, it was Aurora. She was turning around and Bane just basically picked her up and tossed her out on the ref who is trying to keep tabs on the wrestlers falling out.

DB: X-Factor just gave up on Angel X and is going after Bane. Bane saw him just in time to catch a shot to his stomach. They are now exchanging blows. X-Factor just nailed Bane with a DDT and then turn and caught JBS with a suplex. He lands at the feet of Angel X.

LR: Angel X just scooped up JBS and is walking over to the ropes. He is going to drop him… OH NO! JBS held on and pulled him out too. So that is another two down.

VP: Bane now has Dope as Slack as Wolf. They whipped them at each other, DAMN! They ran smack into each other, and X Factor knocks out Dope with a Savate Kick. Dope is down and Wolf is wobbling. Slack grabbed Wolf and DDT’ed… No, Wolf reversed it and back dropped Bane over the top. Wolf is barely hanging on.

DB: I don’t he is going to last much longer.

LR: Nope, Slack just grabbed him and whipped him over toward the ropes and Bane pulled the ropes down to make him flip over.

VP: Even when one is down they still work together.

LR: We only have three left. Dope is down and X –Factor and Slack are looking at each other. They lock up and started to exchange forearms. Slack gets the upper hand and nails him with a headbutt. X stumbles back and these guys both look spent.

VP: You should see them from here. It may looked as if Slack had the upper hand most of the match, but we could not keep up with it all. There were a few big hits he took, just like that one.

DB: X came back quick and nailed Slack with a fast hard forearm. The dropped him back. X hits him again. Dope is up. He is running at the other two. FLYING BODY PRESS! All three men go over the top.

VP: WAIT! Bane got under Slack and stopped his feet from hitting the floor. Slack has the top rope as well. Bane pushed him back in. SLACK DID IT!

Ladies and Gentlemen here is your winner of the IHWA Battle Royal: Steven Slack.

WOW – What a way to kick off the PPV! Can the rest of tonight’s card live up to that???

Anastasia and Wicked D vs Red Leaf Express and a Mystery partner

"Hand of Doom" by Danzig comes on and the audience starts to liven up as the Tag Team Champions come out first. Actually three of our competitors come out together as Wicked D comes out accompanied by Anastasia who is leading Red Leaf Express to the ring by a leash. That is so humiliating… I hope Red and who ever his partner is can free him from this embarrassment. Ana makes RLE hold the ropes open so she and Wicked D can get into the ring. Red follows them in is commanded to get down on all fours in front of Anastasia as Wicked D pulls out a mic.

Wicked D: "Well, well, well… the time has come for Red’s (uses his fingers to make the parenthesis signs in the air) "Mystery Partner" to show himself. You know, Anastasia and I are pretty intelligent… we realize that the Front Office wanted to make us nervous and scared by adding an unknown element to the mix, giving Red here the advantage. But just how stupid do you think we are? I mean, come on!!! Look at the facts… we know this "Mystery Partner" is a friend of Red’s who we haven’t seen in a while and has a hidden stake in this match. Could that stake be… (he reaches down and lifts a little cage high into the air) RITZ?!? Well, the front office can play all the little games they want, but it did not affect our training at all because we’re ready for you… GARGOYLE!!!"

The fans go ballistic as the lights dim and suddenly the sound of wind is played over the PA…. On the Jumbotron pictures of tornadoes wiping out farm houses and fields is shown…. Could it be? HELL YA!!! Out from the back steps Blue Tornado!!! He’s BACK!!! Tornado heads to the ring at a run and then slides under the bottom rope… Wicked D and Ana look at each other with a look of confusion on their faces! Ana starts yelling at D that he said it would be Gargoyle! Blue Tornado takes advantage of their distraction as he rushes across the ring and hits a double clothesline that sends both of the Tag Team Champs over the top rope and crashing to the arena floor!

Blue Tornado turns back to Red and helps him to his feet and then removes the dog collar and leash and throws them into the audience. Red looks at Tornado in amazement.. he looks to the ramp and then back to Blue… he does this like three times and he looks as confused as Ana and D. Speaking of the champs they are climbing back up onto the apron when Tornado rushes them… he hip checks Wicked D. off the apron and then grabs Ana by the hair and flips her back into the ring! Tornado tells Red Leaf to get her and then climbs to the top turnbuckle and jumps off with a Flying Body Press to D on the floor! Both men go down hard as Red Leaf grabs Anastasia by the hair and pulls her to her feet! Red can’t bring himself to punch a woman, but rather grabs her by the wrist, twists her arm and then hits a Short Arm Clothesline! He pulls her back to her feet and then slams her to the mat with a T-Bone Suplex! Red gets up and circles his fist over his head trying to get the fans riled up too.

On the outside, Tornado whips D into the steps and then levels the Wicked One with a Clothesline over the steps. He grabs Wicked and then rolls him into the ring. Red Leaf pulls up Anastasia and grabs her by the head… he hooks the leg and hits Fisherman Suplex! Red gets a 2 count as Tornado pulls up D and then hits a Fall From Grace!!! The fans go nuts as Blue Tornado gets up and climbs to the 2nd rope! He slowly takes off the mask to reveal… IAN PAYNE!!! IT IS GARGOYLE!!! The fans go nuts!!! Red Leaf stops pulling Anastasia to her feet and then jumps into the air and yells "YES!!" Ian turns around and gives him the thumbs up just as Anastasia hits a big rocking Nut Shot!!! Ian’s face goes angry and he jumps down to save his friend but a perfectly timed Spinning Heel Kick by Wicked D slams him to the mat!!! Ah man, the tag champs just took control of this one! Red is doubled over in pain and Anastasia hits a Jumping Ax Kick that slams his face into the mat! At the same time, Wicked D hits the ropes and comes off with a Springboard Leg Drop across Ian’s neck!!! Ana grabs Red by his mask and then pulls him up and shoves him into the corner… she jumps up and hits a Spinning Back Kick to his chest that knocks the wind out of the Canadian Superstar. She calls to D who nods knowingly... D gets up and comes running to the corner… Ana drops down on all fours, and D launches off of her and hits a Spinning Crescent Kick to Red’s head! Red collapses in the corner and Ana catches Ian Payne as he is getting up with a Cartwheel Back Elbow that knocks him into the corner as well. D comes running and they hit a Super Crescent Kick on Gargoyle in the corner!

Red and Payne are both down and trying to get back to their feet. D grabs Anastasia by the hand and then whips her hard into the corner where she spears Red in the gut! D heads to the other corner and hits a Running Back Elbow to stagger Ian Payne! D grabs Ian as Ana grabs Red and they whip both of them towards each other in the middle of the ring. It looks like they are going to smack into each other, but Ian stops short and then holds his hands down at his waist… Red puts a foot into this holster and Ian launches him up and over his head where Red turns it into a Super Missile Drop Kick on Wicked D!!! The fans go nuts in appreciation of that move! Anastasia looks pissed and runs at Ian with a Clothesline from Hell, but Ian hits a Drop Toe Hold that sends her Sprawling into the mat!

Red Leaf runs up to Wicked D and hits a Baseball Slide to knock him back out of the ring… back in the middle of the ring, Ian is trying to hook on the No Cure for the Madness but he is showing some ring rust as Ana is able to use a forward roll to get out of it. She jumps into the air and hits him in the chest and face with a well placed Drop Kick! Ian hits the mat and Ana lands hard onto him after coming off the ropes with a beautiful Asai Moonsault! 1… 2.. NO!!! Ian kicks out! As Ian escapes the pin attempt, Red Leaf is trying to get Wicked D back into the ring. Wicked grabs him by the head and then drops down off the apron, sling shotting Red’s neck off the top rope… the Canadian Super Star collapses into the ring.

Ana pulls up Ian Payne and then runs him to the edge of the ring and threw the ropes… Ian hits the hard cement and grabs his arm in pain. Ana turns her attention to Red Leaf and grabs him by the head, forcing him to his feet. Ana whips Red to the ropes and then hits a Hurricanrana! She ends up sitting on his chest, trying to make the pin but can only get a two count before Red arches his back and throws her off! On the outside, Wicked D throws the time keeper off his chair and then grabs it and folds it up… WHAM! Right into Ian’s injured arm!!! Ian Payne is holding the arm and trying to edge away from the essence of wickedness! Wicked measures him up again and – WHAM!!! Another shot to the arm!!! Ian yells out in pain and backs away…

Ana pulls up Red and locks on a Side Head Lock! Suddenly, Red grabs her by the waist and lifts her high into the air… he uses a Back Drop to slam her into the mat, forcing Ana to let go! Red gets up gingerly but grabs her by the head this time, he signals for the crowd and then runs up the turnbuckle while holding on to her head! Looks like he’s going for the Falling Leaf, but she pushes him off at the top and he ends up crotching himself on the top rope!!! OWWWW!!! On the outside, Wicked swings the chair again but Ian manages to duck out of the way and step back again.

Red is sitting on the top rope as Ana climbs up behind him. She grabs him by the head and one arm and hits a Super Inverted Suplex back into the ring where Red hits chest first and has the air driven out of him! Back on the outside, Ian is trying to get away from Wicked but ends up stopped by the steel steps with his back against the steel ring post. Wicked smiles and swings the chair just as Ian drops down and D slams the steel chair into the ring post!!! BANG!!! D looks in pain as Ian jumps up and kicks the chair back into D’s face!!! D goes down as Ana makes the cover in the ring… 1.. 2.. Ian sees what’s happening and tries to make the save but D grabs his leg… 3!!! NO!!!!

Winners by pinfall, the IHWA Tag Team Champions: Wicked D and Anastasia

Anastasia gets up off of Red Leaf Express. Red Leaf gets on his knees and holds his head in despair as on the outside Ian Payne grabs the cage holding Ritz off of the announcer’s table. Wicked D grabs the cage too, and both men look into each other’s eyes with looks that would kill a normal man. In the ring, Anastasia calls for the mic. She stands over the still kneeling Red Leaf Express and begins to talk.

Anastasia: "Hold it… both of you stop!!!"

Ian and Wicked D. both look up at her.

Anastasia: "D… let go… no, it’s OK, let go of the cage…"

Reluctantly, Wicked D releases the cage and Ian pulls Ritz close and begins to check on his condition as Ana addresses Red in the ring.

Anastasia: "Now, my poor, poor Red… I know you wanted so badly to beat me and earn your freedom… but you failed… miserably! I mean, come on! You had a great mystery partner that you had to pull out of retirement and you still couldn’t get the job done. You disgust me! I gave you every reason, every opportunity to show me what you were made of and you just couldn’t muster it, could you?!? It’s pitiful, really! To think, when I took you as my slave, I figured you would entertain me to no end. I assumed that with each torture, you would fight that much harder to gain your freedom, but… I don’t even know! You see Red (she lifts his head with a finger under his chin), I expected so much from you, but you were never my slave… you could have left anytime you wanted and I could not have stopped you! And you know why? Because you liked what was happening! Man, you could have left at anytime and nobody would have blamed you… but you couldn’t do it, could you? Nah, you couldn’t because you weren’t my slave, you were a slave to your own beliefs!!! You made a bet and lost and then had to live in turmoil because of it and you never left. That is impressive, if not a little pathetic. But the time that I knew would come, has finally arrived… you bore me! I’ve grown oh so tired of your pathetic little life. You have become much more trouble then you are worth, if you ask me! So…."

Anastasia reaches into her tights and pulls out the slave contract. She shows it to Red Leaf Express in the middle of the ring and then, what the hell?!? SHE’S RIPPING IT UP!!! Anastasia just tore up her slave contract for Red Leaf Express!

Ana stands over him and rains the pieces of papers over his head. She then slaps her hands together to symbolizes that they are clean and then smiles and leaves the ring. Wicked D joins her at ring side and they head to the back as the audience, Ian Payne and especially Red Leaf look on stunned. Ian slides back into the ring and then checks on Red. He hands him back Ritz and then tells him to take better care of the little guy. Ian, Red and Ritz exit the ring and head to the back to a nice ovation from this capacity crowd.

US Title – Elimination Table Match
Cletus Pisson vs. Ryan Fisher vs. Eliminator

A mixture of boos and cheers comes from the crowd as "Guerilla Radio" by Rage Against The Machine plays on the PA system. Ryan Fischer walks purposefully to the ring, not acknowledging the fans in any way. He reaches ringside and goes underneath the ring to pull out a table.

As he is setting up the table, "Click Click Boom" by Saliva starts to play. The 6'8" giant Eliminator walks out on stage carrying a table with one hand, while the other is high in the air. By the time he gets to the ring, Ryan Fischer is already in the the ring warming up.

The cheers suddenly change completely to boos as the reigning United States champion slowly walks down the ramp, the US Title belt in one hand and the Book of Pain in the other. Cletus enters the ring and hands the US Title to the referee and calls for the mic.

"Looks like the Cajun Messiah has another chapter to add to the Book of Pain. Ya'll wanna guess who's gonna help ole' Cletus write it?"

With that, he throws the mic down and rushes his two opponents, still holding the Book of Pain! Eliminator and Fischer dodge him and Pisson just barely puts on the brakes before colliding with the turnbuckle. Fischer kicks Pisson in the gut, sending the Book sailing out of the ring. He peppers the champ's head with a flurry of right hands, rocking the Cajun Messiah's head back with each shot. He's only stopped by a Double Axehandle from behind by Eliminator! Why did he do this? Is Eliminator aligning himself with Cletus? No! He picks Pisson up and drives him to the mat with a bone-jarring bodyslam!

Wait a minute! Pisson's not quite as out of it as we thought as he clamps the Jaws of Life on Eliminator! The big man's eyes start to bug out as his testicles are being crushed by Pisson's powerful hand! Fischer taps the champ on the shoulder. As he turns, he barely has time to prepare as Fischer cracks him upside the skull with his own Book of Pain! This causes him to lose his grip on Eliminator, who drops to the mat, rolling in pain.

Pisson screams the word "Blasphemer" at Fischer and the two start going toe-to-toe, trading punching. Seems as if this has lost all semblance of a wrestling match, folks. Eventually Pisson wins to battle of fisticuffs and grabs Fischer by the back of the neck and goes to throw him over the top rope. Fischer manages to grab the top rope, avoiding the table placed at ringside. While this is happening, Eliminator has gotten back to his feet and makes a mad dash at Pisson. Just before he connects, Pisson ducks out of the way, causinf the big man to catapult himself over the top and crash into the table!

Eliminator just took himself out of the match!

First man eliminated - Eliminator

Fischer rolls back into the ring, where Cletus kicks him in the head before he can get back to his feet. Pisson drags Ryan over to the corner and attempts to ram his head into the top turnbuckle. Fischer blocks and fires a couple of back elbows into Pisson's ample gut. He reverses and puts Pisson in the corner. He nails the champ with two punches to the face. He goes for a third, but Pisson catches his fist and bites his hand! Pisson may only have three teeth, but he still uses them to make Fischer yell in pain! Fischer stomps on the Cajun Messiah's foot in order to free his hand. He wipes his hand on his tights and locks up with Pisson. Pisson catches Fischer in the gut with a knee, then sends him crashing to the mat with a wicked DDT!

As Fischer holds his neck, Cletus rolls out of the ring and slides a table in. He barely manages to get it set up when Ryan Fischer catches him unaware with a Flying Forearm to the face! He helps the champ to his feet, then spins him around and gives him a Reverse Neckbreaker. Once more, Fischer picks up the Cajun Messiah, this time sending him into the ropes with an Irish Whip. Fischer meets him with a Spinebuster, trying to put him through the table. No! Fischer's not close enough! But he does manage to catch the back of Pisson's head on the edge of the table!

Fischer pulls the limp form of Pisson from the mat and lays him across the table. He nails him with a couple of head shots, then runs to the opposite corner. He exits the ring and climbs to the top. Is he crazy? Is he going for the Diving Headbutt? Yes! He's signaling for the Diving Headbutt! Pisson and the table are on the other side of the ring! He'll never connect from that distance! With all the power he can muster, Ryan launches himself at the prone form of Cletus Pisson. What hang time! Fischer's forehead connects with Pisson's sternum, causing the table to crack in two! The ref calls for the bell!

Second man eliminated - "The Cajun Messiah" Cletus Pisson

He did it! Ryan Fischer put the United States champion through the table!

Winner and NEW United States Champion - Ryan Fischer

Holy crap… Fischer did it… FISCHER DID IT!! Ryan has his arm raised by the ref as he is handed the belt! Cletus looks on in total disappointment.

We cut to a shot of the Destruction Inc. locker room where Ian Payne is tussling with Red Leaf Express as Mad Dragon (with his arm in a sling) is talking with Jonathan.

Dragon: "Thanks for stepping up man…"

Jono: "No, problem, you just concentrate on getting better."

Ian gets up and gingerly slaps Dragon on the back.

Ian: "Yea, man, with Perry and me out, you are the leadership of Destruction Inc. and you need to stay healthy man!"

Dragon: "I’m trying, man, believe me. I didn’t expect this to happen just as I was going to go for #100 and the championship!"

Ian: "Yea, we know, it’s got to be tough…"

Red: "Yea, damn difficult."

Dragon: "You know it, but tonight is not my night… tonight is Jono’s turn to bring that damn belt back to Destruction Inc."

Red: "Yea, Jono, you can do it… go show that lousy reptile a thing or two!"

Jono is getting pumped up…

Jono: "Hell ya… HELL YA!!! I’m going to go get my belt back!!!"
Jonathan heads out the door and heads to the ring…

IHWA World Title – Hell in a Cell, No One Allowed at Ringside

The opening strains of Slayer’s "Angel of Death" comes over the PA and the fans go nuts!!! The big man from Great Britain head down to the ring as they lower the cage around it. The cage stops about 5 feet above the ropes and Jono climbs in. He begins to warm up as he waits for the Champ to show. The music changes and here comes the champ!!! Cobra walks out to the top of the ramp with Ivanna Dewitt hanging off one arm and the World Strap hanging over the other shoulder! After the fireworks and smoke stops, she lets go of his arm and claps for him as he walks to the ring. Cobra slides in to the ring as well and hands the belt to the ref. He shows it to Jonathan and then hands it to a ring attendant who places it on the announcer’s table. They finish lowering the cage as the ref gives them instructions. Jono and Cobra are staring intently into each other’s eyes as the cage lands on the floor with a loud clunk! The ref calls for the bell and this one is underway!

Cobra punches Jono right off the bat and seems to take the former champ by surprise! Cobra keeps on him and uses a series of big right hands to back the Brit into the ropes! Cobra grabs him by the wrist and starts to fling him across the ring, but changes direction right away and sends Jono careening into the steel cage wall! * CLANG * Jono grabs his head in pain and Cobra hits a knee to the gut that doubles over the big man and then plants him into the mat with a DDT! Jono looks up in pain and we can see a trickle of blood already spotting his face at the left eyebrow!

Cobra grabs Jono by the hair, moves so he’s kneeling over the challenger and starts pounding him in the head over and over with a big fist trying to open up that cut! Jono finally manages to throw off the champ and pulls himself to his feet… he wipes his hand across his head and it comes away covered in blood! A look of anger comes over Jono’s face and he turns to face a smiling Cobra. Cobra signals him to bring it and the two men lock up in the center of the ring! Jono locks up the champ’s arms and then hits a series of three quick knee lifts to Cobra’s ribs! Jono locks his up Cobra and then takes him down to the mat with a modified Belly to Belly Suplex!!! Now it’s Jono’s turn to begin punching! He lands 4 or 5 good right hands before Cobra is able to roll through… back and forth they go, each man trying to gain the advantage. Jono finally kicks Cobra off of him and the two men are separated.

Both men are up now and circling each other. Cobra feigns a lock up and then goes behind Jonothan… he grabs him around the waist, and tries to lift the big Brit off the canvas, Jono blocks it and then tries to reverse it, but Cobra didn’t get to be champ by giving up easily. He blocks the reversal and then slams the big man to the canvas with a German Release Suplex! Cobra grabs one of Jono’s legs and then the other… he smiles an evil smile and then steps through… he folds the legs up and locks on the Cobra Coil!!! Jono yells out in pain as Cobra locks it down, stretching out the challenger’s back, legs and knee ligaments!!! Jono is in serious pain but wont submit… he makes it to the ring ropes and the ref calls for the break but Cobra tells him to "F@CK OFF!!" and keeps it locked on! This is a Hell in as Cell match, so anything goes!

Cobra leaves it locked on and leans back to grab the top rope for extra leverage! Jono yells out in serious pain, as the ref is trying to figure out what to do – he can’t force the break and he can’t call for the bell cause Jono is in the ropes! Jono helps him out when Cobra adjusts his hold… Cobra lets go of the rope and Jono uses his hands to climb the corner and then is able to straighten out his legs and flip Cobra out into the ring! Jono holds on to the ropes and tries to stretch out his legs, getting the blood flowing again and the muscles loosened up. Cobra gets up and stretches out his neck and then rushes in… bad move! Jono has the presence of mind and enough leg strength to jump out and plant the champ with a Diving Clothesline! Cobra slams back first into the mat!

Jono grabs him by the head and pulls up the champ… he whips Cobra head first into the steel mesh, but grabs him by the head and shoves his face hard into the mesh and then grates it back and forth! Cobra is in pain and trying to break free! Jono pulls his head back and locks his arm around it and then slams Cobra to the mat again with a Reverse DDT!!! Jono gets up to one knee and Cobra rolls towards the camera and we can see that the forehead area of his mask is partially torn.and soaked with blood! Cobra crawls to the ropes and begins to pull himself up when Jono comes running and leap frogs onto the champ’s back, slamming his neck across the 2nd rope!!! Cobra is down and holding his neck in pain!

Jono pulls up Cobra and then smacks him in the jaw with a European Upper Cut that spins the champ around!!! Jono grabs Cobra by the waist and then lifts him so high into the air that it slams Cobra’s head into the top of the cage!!! The fans go nuts at this sign of strenght!!! Jono slams the Champ’s head into the steel mesh three times and then drops back and slams Cobra’s head into the mat!!! Jono makes the first cover of the night but can only get a 2 count before Cobra manages to get a shoulder up! Wow, these guys are tough!

Jono pulls up Cobra and then grabs him by the arm and whips the champ hard into the corner! Jono runs in after him and hits a Clothesline that snaps Cobra’s head back! Jono drops down, grabs the middle rope and drives his shoulder into Cobra’s mid-section over and over! The fans count along to five and Jono pulls away, grabs Cobra by the head and throws him to the mat! Jono grabs Cobra’s legs, lifts them up and steps through… it looks like he’s going to lock on his own version of the Cobra Coil!! No! Cobra grabs Jonathan’s ankle and rolls through, turning the move into an ankle lock!!! Jono is in pain but hits a Mule Kick with his free leg that catches Cobra right in the face!

Cobra is sitting in the corner and Jono rolls sideways along the ring. Cobra grabs the ropes and pulls himself up just as Jono comes running -–Spear into the corner!!! Man, he just drove the air out of Cobra’s body with that one! Cobra staggers out of the corner and Jono hits the Drop Out DDT!!! That’s the move that made him the champ the first time! 1… 2… NO!!! Cobra got his foot on the bottom rope!!! That was close!!! Jono slaps the mat in frustration and then pulls up Cobra… Spinning Neck Breaker! He pulls up Cobra again and another Spinning Neck Breaker by the Challenger!!! Here’s the cover… 1.. 2.. NO!!! Kick out by Cobra!!! Wow, almost!

Jono pulls Cobra up and whips him face first into the steel mesh again… Cobra grabs his head and leans against the ropes… Jono measures him up and then comes running with another spear – NO!!! Cobra drops to the mat and Jono flies through the ropes and smacks his head on the steel support of the cage!!! Jono yells out in pain and grabs his head! He turns around and the blood is freely flowing down his face now providing him a crimson mask!!! Cobra grabs Jono by the hair and then bites him on the forehead!!! HOLY CRAP!!! Cobra pulls away and spits a mouthful of blood into the air, making a Muta-like mist! Jono is holding his head in pain again as Cobra kicks him in gut, doubling over the challenger… Cobra Drop!!! Man, he just planted that already injured head straight into the mat!!! Here’s the cover… 1.. 2.. NO!!! Jono kicks out at 2 and ¾!!!

Cobra pulls up Jono and throws him over the top rope where he falls between the cage and the ring ropes – effectively trapping the challenger! Cobra sticks a leg through the ropes and steps on Jono’s neck, utilizing the leverage of the ropes! The ref tries to break it up, but has no rights in this match, he’s only there to make the count! Cobra grabs Jono’s legs and then crotches the big man on the bottom rope before pulling him into the ring! Both men look overly battered in this match.

Cobra pulls up Jono and then hooks his head and arm for a suplex… Jono drops down and rolls up Cobra with an Inside Cradle!!! That’s the same move that Cobra used, well Studdly used, to win the belt!!! 1.. 2.. NO!!! Last second kick out by the champ!!! Another close one!!! Jono rolls off and gets slowly to his feet! He grabs Cobra and flings him hard into the corner… Cobra hits back first and then drops to the mat! Is he unconscious?!? Cobra is lying there with one arm hanging over the apron and isn’t moving… Jono comes over and kicks him in the ribs but gets no reaction from the champ! Looks like he’s out cold! Jono grabs Cobra by the head and pulls him back into the ring… he pulls him to his knees and locks the champ’s head between his legs… Jono flips him high into the air and sets him up for the Jack Knife Powerbomb! NO!!! Cobra grabs the top of the cage with one hand and has a pair of brass knuckles on the other hand! Where the hell did he get those?!? They must have been taped to the side of the ring! Cobra slams the brass knucks right into Jono’s already bleeding head! Jono falls to the mat, and Cobra makes the cover! 1.. 2.. 3!!! No! Not like that!

Winner and Still IHWA Champion: Cobra

Cobra reaches into his tights with his free hand and pulls out a pair of hand cuffs! He grabs Jono by the hair and pulls the former champ to the side of the ring! He handcuffs the challenger to the ring ropes!!! Holy crap!! Cobra begins to pound on Jono’s head with those knucks as Red Leaf Express, Ian Payne and the injured Mad Dragon come running from the back! The cage starts to raise but the lowers again – What the hell?!? On the JumboTron, we get a shot of the back area and Johnny B. Studdly holding the cage controls in his hands and an unconscious IHWA ring worker at his feet. Studdly is smiling wildly as he watches Cobra put a beating to Jono!

Suddenly out of nowhere, the Wolf comes running up and slams Studdly in the back of the head with a chair!!! Studdly goes down hard and Wolf hits the button to raise the cage. He then starts putting the boots to the Golden Studd! He ends the sneak attack by stepping on Studdly’s head! Wolf asks him if he’s had enough and then says he can’t hear him! Wolf laughs, then kicks Studdly in the ribs again and walks off!

Back in the ring, the cage lifts into the air and Cobra dives out of the ring as Ian and Red Leaf get in! The ref grabs Cobra’s arm and lifts his arm into the air and hands him his belt. Cobra goes around the ring, carefully watching the other members of Destruction Inc. He gets to the ramp and is met by the injured Mad Dragon! Dragon stands in his way and tells Cobra to enjoy the belt while he’s got it, cause it won’t be for long! Cobra smiles and just says "Anytime, buddy, anytime!" Dragon steps aside to protect the injured arm and Cobra heads to the back.

Man, what a match, and what a pay per view! See you all on Friday at Warzone!!!
